Leslie and Silvia met teaching Spanish in the mountains of Colorado in 2014. They quickly became good friends and successfully took a group of high school students to Valencia in 2017. Siliva with 14 years and Leslie with 25, both are experienced at creating an environment for language acquisition to occur. Class content is based on their students' lives, culture, and real world events. Their style is fun, storytelling based and low stress.
Leslie has visited Chile, Venezuela, Guatemala, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic and has lived in Singapore, Honduras and Spain. Silvia has lived in Ireland, Greece, Colorado and currently lives in Luxembourg. She has visited Mexico, Costa Rica, Morocco, Turkey and several countries in Europe. She has also walked different sections of El Camino de Santiago.
Sivia enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and doing yoga. Leslie spend much of her time kitesurfing, biking, reading and learning to play pickleball.
