at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico

A week summit of talks, activities, and workshops

The Escuela Latinoamericana de Verano en Investigación Operativa (ELAVIO) is a summer school promoted by the Asociación Latino-Ibero-Americana de Investigación Operativa (ALIO) and supported by IFORS (International Federation of Operations Research Societies), aimed mainly at young researchers and graduate students (doctorate and master) from Latin-Ibero-American countries, with exceptional performance and interested in the areas of Operations Research, Systems Engineering and Applied Mathematics. This year, the mexican operations research society (SMIO) hosts this event which is one of the most important operations research events in Latino-Ibero-America.

The purpose of the ELAVIO is to promote new collaborations and motivate new generations in Operations Research through mini-courses and plenary conferences that address emerging issues and current research areas. Participants will also have the opportunity to present and discuss their work. In all previous editions of ELAVIO, camaraderie prevailed and contacts were strengthened between members of research groups from different countries.

The official languages of the Workshop are English, Spanish and Portuguese. The lectures and mini-courses will be in any official language. In all cases, the slides will be in English.

The ELAVIO XXIV will be organized by SMIO and held in Nuevo León, Mexico from June 13 to 17, 2022, at the facilities of the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Monterrey, which are located in Monterrey, Mexico.
