When we learned we were having a second daughter, we briefly thought about the life we were missing by not having any boys. Then we thought of all the benefits of having children who are close in age and the same gender, specifically only girls.

Spoiler alert: my hubby shoots X darts. We laughed and cried when we realised our fate, and about five minutes later we felt calm and joyful. We were going to have three girls and it would be awesome.

My fianc and I have decided not to have children at our wedding. I have a very large family and we are trying to keep the count under 150. However, we are having two flower girls stand up. The flower girls are our nieces. Will other people view this as rude if the girls are at the reception, but other children are not invited? We both want our nieces to be a part of our special day, and we realize they both won't be awake for the whole reception (it lasts until 11:30 pm). Should we incite a curfew for the girls? I feel like that would be rude as well.

I'm not having kinds either with the exception of my flower girls. I think it's fine and I hope the parents in attendance will understand. It's not a kids party, it's your wedding. I don't think you need to set a curfew for the girls. They will will fall asleep when they are ready and you can kiss them goodnight and not miss a beat.

We're having an adults only wedding, but our flowers girls (agres 3 and 1) will most definitely be invited! It would be horrible to not include them. If their parents want them to have a curfew, then they'll figure that out. People shouldn't make a fuss over the 2 girls being there because they're in the BP.

We are having adult only reception, but my daughter is the FG and our nieces are junior bridesmaids. They are the only children at wedding. I doubt anyone would be offended and if they are IDGAF. My cousin only had her step daughter at wedding and no1 complained. My cousins don't like bringing their kids to weddings, so I know they won't care.

In our survey, nine out of ten young women reported having had period pain in the past three months, and half reported pain every month. This is similar to previous findings in teenagers in Australia.

Pain was the biggest factor in predicting how much their education would be affected, with higher pain scores having a much greater negative impact. This is a concern as it often occurs at a crucial time in their academic lives during their final schooling years. Absenteeism at this time can have long-term consequences due to exams and assignments in the senior years often determining which courses can be studied at tertiary education.

In particular, no advice was given on dealing with pain (mine ended up being extreme) or what the process (if any) was at school for having menstrual pain taken seriously and treated as a consideration in test writing or sport class.

Example 2.2.5 (Elder is a girl vs. at least one girl). A family has two children, and it is known that at least one is a girl. What is the probability that both are girls, given this information? What if it is known that the elder child is a girl?

$A$ and $B$ should be defined as events and not probabilities. $A$ is the event of having both girls and $B$ is the event of having at least one girl. By definition, you can see that they are not independent events. Hence $P(A,B) = P(A)P(B)$ does not hold. When we estimate $P(A,B)$, only one combination works $(GG)$ out of the four possible combinations. Hence the probability of both having both girls and having at least one girl is $P(A,B)=1/4$.

Since at least the 14th century, boys have had bar mitzvah services, adding their voices to the Jewish community, says Rabbi Carole Balin, a professor emerita of Jewish history at Hebrew Union College who's working on a book about early bat mitzvahs. But girls didn't have an equivalent rite of passage.

Balin says there were some early rituals for girls in the Ottoman and Hungarian Empires. And confirmation, an alternative coming-of-age ceremony, was adopted by Jews in 19th century Prussia and later used by Reform temples for both boys and girls.

The actual details of that first bat mitzvah may be somewhat surprising to today's congregations. Unlike girls today, Judith Kaplan didn't actually read from the Torah. She was summoned to the bimah, the stage where the Torah is read, only after her father had read the weekly portion.

By end of the 1950s, Rabbi Carole Balin says that half of Conservative temples and one third of Reform congregations reported holding some sort of bat mitzvah. As the ceremony spread, girls wanted it to be more than just symbolic.

With more bat mitzvahs taking place in the 1960s, and with the help of second wave feminism, girls argued that they should read from the Torah and be counted in a minyan, the quorum of adults required for community prayer. Their mothers began joining temple boards, or seeking out bat mitzvahs of their own that weren't available when they were younger.

"These girls, at the age of 12 or 13, they step into the spotlight, and transform Jewish life," Balin says. "So that by the time the first woman is ordained as a rabbi in this country in 1972, she has girls half her age to thank for paving the way."

There's a temptation to see all ritual as ancient, handed down from God on Mt. Sinai. But the bat mitzvah is young. The ceremony is the embodiment of how religions change and adapt. It's a testimony to the perseverance of 12 year old girls.

Cobb angle was 35.0  4.8 degrees in braced and 33.0  4.9 degrees in un-braced patients (difference not significant, unpaired t-test). The age was 14.1  1.6 years in Group 1 and 13.1  1.9 years in Group 2 (p = 0.046, unpaired t-test). Risser sign value was less than three in twelve girls from Group 1 and in twenty-three girls from Group 2. Both groups presented similar curve patterns. The value of ATR in the main curvature was 8.4  2.7 degrees in Group 1 and 11.4  2.7 degrees in group 2 (difference highly significant, p = 0.0003, unpaired t-test). The value of the sum of ATR at three levels of the trunk was 12.8  4.6 degrees in Group 1 and 16.5  3.8 degrees in Group 2 (difference significant, p = 0.0038, unpaired t-test). The POTSI did not differ significantly between the groups (p = 0.18).

Girls with Cobb angle of 25 to 40 degrees, wearing the brace, revealed less clinical deformity than non-treated girls having similar radiological deformity. Evaluation of results of scoliosis treatment should consider clinical deformity and not be limited to radiological data.

Having a little girl gives Mama a better understanding of how she feels because all mothers have been little girls once, they understand where she is coming from and what to expect from her. The bonding between mother and daughter is one of the most precious things; they can even wear matching outfits and talk about girly things as they grow up. As she grows, her mother will be able to connect with her more; mums can soothe her fears, concerns and help her with her ambitions and give her the support only another woman can.

Changing diapers can be messy, no matter what gender your baby is. But there is a very great advantage to having a little girl when it comes to this element, and that is no squirts of pee on your face or clothes.

There are so many exotic and lovely names to choose from when picking a name for girls, not just that but mothers can choose one that matches theirs or even add their names as their middle name. Nicknames are another area you can shine, choose one that suits her personality and see how she loves it.

Important milestones for baby girls include rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and walking, typically achieved within the first year. Language development, such as babbling and saying their first words, is also a significant milestone. Social milestones include forming attachments to caregivers and developing the ability to interact with others through smiles and eye contact.

Every little girl is precious and can be your light, your life and bring about endless amounts of laughter and joy to your lives. Girls seem to be easier to discipline and start talking earlier than boys, so be prepared for some interesting conversations much earlier than you have anticipated. So even if you were expecting a boy but were surprised when presented with a little girl in the delivery room, remember, there is so much to enjoy from having her in your life and enjoy every bit of raising a daughter.

The beginning of your story sums up your predicament. Having a crush does not translate into that person you crush on having mutual feelings. In fact, a crush rarely manifests into a relationship. It is an overload of feelings of attachment towards that one person who will most likely never have the same emotions towards us. What you think is love is a cocktail of neurochemicals flooding your brain. You might be failing to attract a woman because you try too hard to impress and may come across as desperate. I would advise you to concentrate more on your business. It would be better to cultivate friendships with women so that those in your social space get to know the real you, instead of the version of you that is attempting to win them over.

The girls soccer season ended with a close 3-2 loss to Plymouth Christian at the District Final but, according to Greenhills Athletic Director Meg Seng, it may have been the best soccer the team played all season.
