Join four dramatically-inclined women for a hot bevvie and writing that examines the stories we tell about our lives. Through essays, poems, and whimsical meanderings, the writers of Elastic Ink explore the space where truth blurs into myth and memory feels suspiciously like a fairy tale. These are stories “as it happens” and as we know them to be true.

Featuring the writing of Brooke Aiello, Casey Ballard, and Heather Parish, this reading offers an intimate literary experience celebrating stories—true, half-true, and lovingly misremembered.

After standing-room-only readings at LitHop Fresno 2023 & 2024 and two Rogue Sold Out Awards, the writers of Elastic Ink invite you back to the Stargazer Cottage for a cozy evening of words, warmth, and a well-earned cuppa on the porch.

Elastic Ink 

is a women-focused creative circle based in Fresno, CA exploring various modes of wordplay and artistic expression. Elastic Ink artists have presented at Fresno's Rogue Performance Festival, LitHop Fresno, and storytelling and open mic events in Fresno County.
