Our laboratory serves as a collaborative hub where engineering and the physical sciences come together to tackle complex problems in electromagnetics. We combine scientific insight with engineering expertise to develop innovative technologies and experimental methods that overcome challenges.
The lab’s research spans a wide spectrum—from classical microwave systems to advanced topics such as metamaterials, terahertz devices, electromagnetic sensing, and energy-efficient wireless systems. This broad focus enables cross-disciplinary exploration and supports applications in areas like biomedical engineering, environmental monitoring, communication networks, smart energy systems, and high-precision agricultural technologies.
We foster a research culture that encourages creativity, adaptability, and technical depth. Our students and researchers gain a strong foundation in both theory and practice, preparing them to thrive in diverse and evolving professional environments. By integrating concepts from microwave devices and numerical nanoscale engineering, we aim to drive forward discoveries and practical innovations.

We would like to invite opportunities for scholarly collaboration and are very much open to the submission and review of comprehensive review articles.
Harran University Journal of Sciences (e-ISSN: XXXX) is the official scientific, periodic, peer-reviewed, open access publication of Harran University. Our journal, which will start publication in 2026, will be published for the public free of charge and as open access, starting with issue 1 in 2026. It will include the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license in all published articles. Our journal is published in two issues, in June and December.
Fundamentally, our journal, which encompasses a broad range of science and engineering disciplines, including theoretical, experimental, numerical/computational, and applied studies, evaluates articles through the double-blind peer-review process.
The publication scope encompasses a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines, covering theoretical, experimental, numerical/computational, and applied studies; this includes all engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical-electronics, computer/software, industrial, environmental, materials-metallurgical, chemical, food, biomedical, geology-geophysics, geomatics, etc.), basic sciences (including physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, applied mathematics, and scientific computation), as well as agricultural engineering and its sub-fields.
The Editorial Board of the Harran University Journal of Sciences adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
