Waste Reporting & Redressal System– Worker User Agreement

This Worker User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of the Waste Reporting & Redressal System by registered sanitation workers (“Workers”). By logging in to or using this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms stated below. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access or use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Worker Portal, you agree to comply with this Agreement and all operational instructions issued through the app or by the developer or authorized administrators. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these terms.
2. Purpose of the App
This app is strictly intended for official sanitation operations, including:
Viewing assigned waste-cleanup tasks
Tracking task status and progress
Uploading task completion evidence (images)
Coordinating authorized municipal sanitation work
Any use outside this defined scope is strictly prohibited.
3. Mandatory Daily Usage
Workers are required to open and check the app daily to:
View new or updated task assignments
Monitor pending, delayed, or escalated issues
Ensure timely resolution of reported waste problems
Failure to check the app regularly may result in missed assignments and may invite administrative action.
4. Registration, ID Verification, and Approval Process
During registration, workers must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information.
Submission of a valid government-issued ID proof is mandatory.
After submission, the Worker Account Registration Application will remain under review.
Approval or rejection typically takes 2–3 working days.
Workers will receive a personalized email notification confirming APPROVAL or REJECTION.
If rejected, the worker may either contact support for clarification or submit a fresh application.
Until approval is granted, access to worker functionalities will remain restricted.
5. Data Accuracy and Modification
Once registration is completed, personal details cannot be modified through the app.
Only the password may be changed using the official password recovery mechanism.
For any changes to personal or official information (name, region, phone number, role, etc.), the worker must contact the developer or an authorized administrator directly.
6. Account Responsibility and Security
Workers are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Any activity performed through a worker’s account will be treated as authorized by that worker.
Sharing credentials or permitting unauthorized access is strictly prohibited.
7. Task Handling and Professional Conduct
Workers must:
Perform assigned tasks responsibly and professionally
Upload genuine, clear, and accurate completion images
Avoid false reporting, misleading updates, or intentional delays
Any misuse, negligence, or manipulation of task-related data may result in suspension or permanent termination of access.
8. Data Handling and System Limitations
Task data, images, timestamps, and worker details are stored in a secure, structured system.
Minor processing delays (typically 2–5 seconds) may occur due to backend verification.
While reasonable security measures are implemented, the developer is not liable for accidental data loss or temporary service interruptions.
9. Intellectual Property
The app, its design, workflows, and underlying systems are the intellectual property of Earth Kumar Roy / Team Code Alchemist. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, redistribution, or replication of any part of the app is strictly prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
The app is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind. The developer shall not be liable for:
Temporary unavailability of services
Data processing delays
Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from app usage
11. Modification of Terms and Features
The developer reserves the right to:
Modify app features, workflows, or interfaces
Update this Agreement at any time
Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Suspension or Termination
Worker access may be suspended or permanently terminated if the worker:
Violates this Agreement
Misuses the app or its data
Engages in fraudulent, unethical, or unauthorized activity
Compromises system integrity or security
13. Final Acknowledgment
By using the Smart Waste Report Management App, you confirm that:
You understand your operational responsibilities
You agree to check the app daily
You accept all terms and conditions stated above
