The Elf Khurafeh Shrine Minicar Unit was founded in 1972 by original members Elmo Meyer and Robert Davis.
Each year, the unit participates in parades all over Michigan raising awareness and money to support Shriners Hospitals for Children. Each member of the unit donates their time and energy making sure that the tradition started in 1972 continues and thrives today and remain viable for future generations of Shriners. Currently the unit is sponsored by the Midland Area Shrine Club.
