Foundations of Environmental Health

EHS 250, Fall (Undergraduate)

This course is a foundational introduction to the Environmental Health curriculum.  Students are expected to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of major environmental risk factors and their associated adverse human health outcomes and environmental impacts. 

Environmental Health Management

EHS 350, Spring (Undergraduate)

During this course, students learn about the goals of managing environmental health problems and public health programs. The course focuses on existing laws and guidelines for addressing these issues, as well as current practices used to meet those requirements. 

Measuring Environmental Inequality

EST 617, Spring (Graduate)

This course introduces students to the theoretical and historical foundations of environmental inequality. The focus of the course is on how societal inequalities are operationalized and measured in the research and public policy context.
