Mrs. Hegan is the founder and CEO, Emerald Kwesikofi Educational Consult Nigeria Limited (EKEC) through EKEC, she organized the first ever virtual Spelling Bee and Mathematics Competition in Nigeria during the pandemic Lockdown and recorded about 90% success. She succeeded in engaging the Nigerian students during the lockdown and has been recognized as one of the best educationists that ensured that Nigerian students continued to be educated while on Covid – 19 pandemic lockdown. She is also the founder and National President, for the Association of Private Preschool and Primary Leaders (APPPL).
Mrs. Hegan Joy is also experienced in school technology and data base, school program design, curriculum enrichment, Montessori education, staff evaluation, Special educational needs and education procurement. She has been nominated five times as teacher of the year and has been awarded two times best teacher of the year. She has also been awarded ‘THE LEADERSHIP IMPACT AWARD’ by Spell Quest Nig. Nancy Ekpezu is the Founder and Lead Consultant at Pezu Smith Consulting, a company that works with schools and other organisations to create their administrative processes and management for efficiency and sustainability.
A chartered professional administrator, Nancy has worked with many schools and organisations in the past few years, training and coaching them on various aspects of administration and management- policies and procedures, performance management, team building, customer service, record keeping, professional ethic, recruitment processes, and lots more. She conducts in-person as well as virtual training and coaching sessions with individuals and organisations.
Nancy has been involved in several collaborative training and coaching programmes including the in-service training for teachers in Lagos State public schools, coaching on the Olusola Lanre coaching app.
She provides one-on-one coaching sessions for professionals on their personal development journey, urging them to become better versions of themselves.
Before founding Pezu Smith Consulting, Nancy worked for over twenty-five years in the education sector, sixteen of which were at the school leadership level. She has been a school administrator in four reputable schools in four cities in Nigeria. On her last job, she led a team of over a hundred employees in a group of schools managed by a reputable multinational where she reported to the School Board.
Due to the commendable services that she has rendered to develop organisations, Nancy was featured as a Global Education Influencer in 2020 and named among 100 Admired People in Education in 2021 by The Excelligent Group, Asia. Before then, she was nominated for an award by the Arclight Foundation Educational Improvement and Development in Africa in 2018. She serves as an Executive Board Member of the Global Trainer Academy in Saudi Arabia.
Nancy has spoken at several reputable platforms in Nigeria as well as internationally, including a TEDx Talk in 2020. She is the author of the phenomenal book dear Educator: Tips for Becoming a 21st Century Educator, and The School Administrator’s Companion which was published in June 2021.

Hannah Otoo is a mum of two and parent of a severely autistic young man, based in London UK. Hannah is the Founder and CEO of Rex Yankey Otoo (REYO) Foundation and REYO Paddock School (a high standard Special Needs School in Ghana, Africa) The school was set up in partnership with Paddock School, an outstanding UK special school. The school is also linked to major UK Special needs organizations. REYO Foundation also hosts Ghana and Africa’s Autism and SEN SHOWS held every year.
Hannah is the founder of 2 other UK SEN Organizations. She also takes part in a number of UK projects on improving the current UK SEN system and developing a New Autism Strategy in England. She has lived experience of the stresses and strains families like hers go through and always aspiring to help other families with special needs children and young people (CYP) achieve better outcomes for their families. Hannah has gained lots of experience over the past 15 years working with various professionals and over 19 different therapists including alternative therapists from all over the world. She has supported in the role as multi therapy assistant for a number of therapists.
She has completed numerous trainings and courses on Autism and special educational needs (SEN). She loves to use her creative skills to design personalised special needs packages for children and young people as well as adults to develop their talents for career or business opportunities. Hannah is a Certified Chartered Accountant by profession and Fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
