Sydnee Wilson Ruff
Currently serving as Executive Director, Sydnee joins the staff at Blue Water Baltimore after a year on the Board of Directors. She was drawn to Blue Water Baltimore because of its commitment to Baltimore’s neighborhoods; Sydnee is led by a deep desire to amplify the voices of the City’s marginalized communities.

Dr. Mintesinot (Minte) Jiru was a key advisor and member of the External Advisory Board throughout SESYNC’s years. Minte is the Chair and Professor of Biology at Coppin State University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). As a researcher with extensive experience in synthesis, Minte’s work focuses on land degradation, food security, and water management issues. Minte’s current research focuses on understanding the socio-environmental and biophysical issues encompassing water quality in Baltimore, Maryland’s watersheds.
