In the scope of a project called “Rehabilitation of cable chambers in the Runway and Control Tower”, NAV’s scope of works was to install D400, E600 and F900 load class resistant triangular hinged covers to insure a quick and easy access to the chambers.
In the scope of a project called “Rehabilitation of cable chambers in the Runway and Control Tower”, NAV’s scope of works was to install D400, E600 and F900 load class resistant triangular hinged covers to insure a quick and easy access to the chambers.
Each junction was equipped with two chambers installed side by side: one for the energy networks and the second one for the telecom networks. To facilitate the installation and avoid any traffic disruption, manhole covers by EJ were sealed in precast, reinforced concrete chambers and installed during nightworks at João Paulo II Airport.
