Cystadlu : Competing
Mae Eisteddfod y Fenni ar agor i unrhyw gystadleuwyr, lle bynnag y maent yn byw, boed am gystadlu yn y Gymraeg neu'r Saesneg, fel unigolion, ysgol neu sefydliad arall.
Mae'r cystadlaethau'n cynnwys llenyddiaeth, cerddoriaeth (canu ac offerynnol), dawnsio gwerin a disgo ac adrodd fel unigolion neu grŵp. Gellir gweld rhestr gyflawn trwy wasgu ar y botymau addas isod.
The Abergavenny Eisteddfod is open to any competitors, wherever they live, whether they want to compete in Welsh or English, as individuals, a school or other organisation.
Competitions include literature music (singing and instrumental), folk and disco dancing and recitation as individuals or a group. A complete list can be seen by clicking on the relevant links below.
Rheolau cystadlu
Rhaid i oedolyn cyfrifol, boed yn riant neu warcheidwad, yn athro neu’n arweinydd cymdeithas, fod gyda phlant dan 18 oed bob amser.
Gall cystadleuwyr ddewis eu darnau eu hunain, ond eu bod o fewn cyfyngiad amser a nodir isod.
Rhaid i’r deunyddiau a ddefnyddir, gan gynnwys testunau, cerddoriaeth a chaneuon, fod yn addas i bob oedran. Gwaherddir unrhyw berfformiad sy’n cynnwys deunydd anaddas.
Am resymau diogelwch a gofod, rydym wedi gosod uchafswm ar gyfer y niferoedd sy’n cystadlu yn y cystadlaethau i ensemblau offerynnol a dawnsio cyfoes.
Rhaid cyflwyno pob cyfeiliant, boed drwy drac neu gyfeiliant byw, a chopïau o bob darn perfformio ar adeg cofrestru. Gellir uwchlwytho ffeiliau PDF, Sain a Delwedd i'r ffurflen gais.
Cystadlaethau cerddorol
Rhaid i gystadleuwyr ddod â 2 gopi o’r gerddoriaeth gyda nhw, gan gynnwys y copi gwreiddiol. Mae un ar eu cyfer eu hunain a’r llall ar gyfer y beirniad; dylai enw’r cystadleuydd a rhif y gystadleuaeth fod ar y copi hwn. Byddwn yn dinistrio copïau ar ôl yr eisteddfod, i gydymffurfio â’r Ddeddf Hawlfraint.
Bydd yn rhaid gwahardd unrhyw gystadleuydd nad yw’n cyflwyno cerddoriaeth.
Gall arweinwyr neu cyfeilydd fod yn oedolion neu’n blant.
Gofynnir i gystadleuwyr os oes angen cyfeilydd arnynt roi gwybod i’r trefnwyr a chyflwyno’r cyfeiliant ymlaen llaw.
Amser cystadlaethau cerddorol: Cynradd - dim mwy na 4 munud, Uwchradd ac Oedolion dim mwy na 6 munud.
Eisteddfod 12+ - Corau yn perfformio 2 ddarn gyferbyniol hyd at 12 munud.
Cystadlaethau llefaru
Gofynnir i’r cystadleuwyr ddod â 2 gopi o’r darn ar gyfer y beirniad a’r trefnydd.
Competition rules
Competitors under 18 must be entered and accompanied at all times by a responsible adult, whether through school, an organisation or parent/guardian.
Competitors can choose their own pieces, as long as they are within the time limits noted below.
Material used, including songs and drama texts, must be suitable for an all-age audience.
Acts using inappropriate material will be disqualified.
For safety and space reasons, we have set a maximum number of competitors for the instrumental ensemble and disco dance competitions.
All accompaniment whether via track or live accompaniment and copies of all performance pieces must be submitted at the time of registration. PDF, Audio and Image files can be uploaded to the application form.
Musical competitions
Competitors must bring 2 copies of the music, at least one of which is the original. One copy is for themselves and one is for the adjudicator, which needs to have the competitor’s name and competition number on the music. Copies are destroyed afterwards to comply with the Copyright Act.
Competitors not submitting music will be disqualified.
Conductors and accompanists may be any age – adults or children
Competitors needing an accompanist are asked to advise organisers and supply accompaniment in advance.
Music competition times: Primary - no more than 4 minutes, Secondary & Adult no more than 6 minutes.
12+ Eisteddfod - Choirs to perform two contrasting pieces, up to 12 minutes.
Recitation competitions
Recitation competitors are asked to bring 2 copies of the piece for the adjudicator and organiser.
