E-ink Chinese Chess Pro is a Xiangqi / Chinese Chess training and analysis app for Android and E-ink Android devices.
This privacy policy explains how the app handles user data.
Data collection
E-ink Chinese Chess Pro does not collect personal information for the main chess features.
The app does not require a user account, login, name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, messages, or payment information inside the app.
Data sharing
E-ink Chinese Chess Pro does not share personal data with third parties.
The app does not upload chess games, positions, engine data, NNUE files, save files, or user-selected files to any server.
Offline use
The main chess features work offline. These include playing Xiangqi, using built-in engines, opening books, puzzles, hints, save/load, undo/redo, and analysis features.
User-selected NNUE files
The app allows users to select their own Pikafish NNUE file from the device.
When a user selects an NNUE file, the app may copy that file into the app’s private storage so the engine can read it. The selected NNUE file remains on the user’s device and is not uploaded to any server.
Users should only use NNUE files that they have the right to use.
Ads and analytics
E-ink Chinese Chess Pro does not contain advertising.
The app does not use analytics services for tracking user behaviour.
Children
E-ink Chinese Chess Pro is intended for general Xiangqi training and analysis. It is not specifically designed for children.
Open-source engines
The app includes or supports open-source Xiangqi engines. Open-source license notices are provided in the app or source package where applicable.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the app adds new features that affect data handling. Any important changes will be reflected in the updated policy.
