Professor Cunsheng Ding's main research fields are cryptography, security, coding theory and combinatorics. Due to Prof. Ding's great research achievement, he was a co-recipient of the State Natural Science Award of China in 1989, and he was an invited keynote speaker at numerous international conferences (for instance, an invited researcher for the Program on Cryptography, Coding theory and Computer Security at The Isaac Newton Institute of Mathematical Sciences at Cambridge University (U.K.) in 1996). Prof. Ding also worked as a guest editor for eight journal special issues on cryptography and coding theory and also an editor of seven other international journals.
