I'm an associate professor of philosophy at the University of Kansas.
Most of my research is in the philosophy of mathematics, at the intersection of issues concerning mathematical knowledge and mathematical truth. I have some related and additional research interests in the metaphysics of abstract objects.

I earned my PhD from the UCLA philosophy department, under the supervision of Tony Martin. My BA is from Notre Dame, where I double-majored in pure math and philosophy. I also spent an undergraduate year as a visiting student in maths and philosophy at New College, Oxford.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and am a dual citizen of the US and Ireland. I like the great outdoors.
