If you want lightweight, open-ear freedom for active side sleeping and sports safety, choose Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones; if you need deep isolation, massive battery life, and over-ear comfort for long commutes or travel, choose INFURTURE H1.
• Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones: Strengths lie in its ultra-lightweight 8g per earbud design and IP54 waterproof rating, making it ideal for running and swimming; the trade-off is that it cannot block out background noise due to its open design. This pick is for active users who prioritize situational awareness and side-sleeping comfort.
• INFURTURE H1: Strengths include industry-leading 90-hour battery life (ANC off) and Active Noise Cancellation that effectively drowns out traffic and aircraft noise; the trade-off is the bulky over-ear form factor which may be uncomfortable for strict side sleepers. This pick is for travelers, commuters, and audiophiles seeking immersion.
The Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones are engineered for people who refuse to sacrifice their connection to the world while they listen to music. The defining feature here is the open-ear architecture combined with a 14.2mm dynamic driver. This setup allows sound to enter your ear naturally rather than being sealed inside a cup. For someone looking for the best kids headset for side sleepers or an adult who wants to nap without pressure on their ears, this design is transformative. Because there is no seal pushing against your eardrum, you can wear these for hours without the fatigue that plagues traditional in-ear buds or heavy over-ear cans.
The build quality reinforces this "wear it forever" philosophy. Each earbud weighs only 8 grams, crafted from lightweight polycarbonate material. When you are lying on your side, the weight distribution is minimal, meaning you won't feel the device digging into your cheek or jaw. The IP54 waterproof rating adds another layer of utility; whether you are sweating through a rigorous workout or caught in a sudden downpour during a run, the headphones are protected. This isn't just about durability; it's about reliability when you are in motion.
However, this product is not for everyone. The open design means you get zero passive noise isolation. If you try to use these on a noisy subway or in a loud office, you will hear everything around you. You also have to accept a trade-off in bass depth compared to sealed units, though the 14.2mm diaphragm does deliver decent stereo sound. If your primary goal is total silence or blocking out crying babies and construction drills, these are not the right tool. But for runners, cyclists, and anyone who needs to hear traffic while jogging, the Eigsupia offers a level of safety and comfort that sealed headphones simply cannot match. The 36-hour total playtime with the charging case ensures you never run dry mid-workout, even if you forget to charge them daily.

The INFURTURE H1 is built for a completely different user profile: the traveler, the commuter, and the dedicated listener who values immersion above all else. This is a true over-ear headphone featuring memory foam ear cups and a faux leather enclosure designed to create a physical seal around the ear. The standout capability here is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Unlike the Eigsupia, which lets the outside world in, the H1 actively reduces low to mid-range ambient noise like city traffic, bus engines, and airplane cabins. This makes it the superior choice for anyone trying to focus on work, study, or music in chaotic environments.
Battery life is where the INFURTURE H1 truly dominates the conversation. With a staggering 90-hour average life when ANC is turned off, and still maintaining 50 hours even with noise cancellation engaged, this device is built for endurance. You could fly across multiple time zones and rarely need to plug it in. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.4 ensures a stable, low-latency connection, which is crucial for watching movies or gaming without audio lag. Furthermore, the 3.5mm jack option provides a wired fallback, giving you versatility that wireless-only devices lack. The push-button controls are straightforward, allowing you to manage volume and calls without fumbling for touch-sensitive surfaces.
That said, the physical design imposes limitations. The over-ear shape, while comfortable for long listening sessions due to the memory foam, creates significant bulk. If you are a strict side sleeper, the ear cups might press against the pillow, causing discomfort or cutting off circulation after a while. It is not the best over ear headphones for side sleepers in the same way the lightweight Eigsupia is, because the sheer size of the cups prevents you from laying flat on your cheek without interference. Additionally, the reliance on power for features means you cannot use the ANC or EQ modes in wired mode; the unit must be powered on to access those functions. This is a high-performance device for static or mobile environments where you need to shut out the world, but it demands a bit more physical space on your head.
• Best for side sleeping comfort → Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones. Their 8g weight and open design eliminate the pressure points that cause pain when lying on your side, whereas the H1's over-ear cups are too bulky for prolonged side napping.
• Best for noise isolation and focus → INFURTURE H1. The Active Noise Cancellation technology effectively blocks out traffic and engine noise, a feature the open-ear Eigsupia physically cannot provide.
• Best for extreme battery longevity → INFURTURE H1. With up to 90 hours of playtime, the H1 lasts weeks longer between charges than the Eigsupia's 36-hour total capacity.
• Best for water resistance and sweatproofing → Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones. The IP54 rating makes these safe for intense workouts and rain, while the H1 lacks a specific waterproof rating for such conditions.
• Best for situational awareness → Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones. The open-ear design lets you hear traffic, sirens, and conversations, making them safer for outdoor activities like running and cycling.
• Best for immersive audio and deep bass → INFURTURE H1. The sealed over-ear design and larger drivers allow for a richer, more bass-heavy experience that isolates you from the environment.
• Best for multi-device versatility → INFURTURE H1. The inclusion of a 3.5mm wired jack gives you a backup connection method that the purely wireless Eigsupia does not offer.
• Best for portability and lightness → Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones. At 8g per bud, they are virtually unnoticeable in your pocket and on your ears, unlike the heavier, bulkier H1 package.
In my opinion, I would buy the Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones if my priority was comfort during sleep or safety during exercise, while I would choose the INFURTURE H1 for any situation requiring deep concentration or travel. Since the core intent of this comparison often involves finding the best kids headset for side sleepers or a solution for adults who struggle with ear pressure, the Eigsupia wins on ergonomics. Its ability to let you rest on your side without pain is a game-changer that the bulky INFURTURE H1 cannot replicate. However, if you spend your days on planes or subways and need silence, the H1's ANC and battery life make it the undisputed champion. For me, the freedom of movement and the sheer comfort of the open-ear design tips the scale toward Eigsupia for daily life, especially for those who value being present in their surroundings.
The Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones are specifically designed with a lightweight 8g profile and open-ear fit that minimizes pressure, making them excellent for side sleepers. The INFURTURE H1, with its large over-ear cups, may cause discomfort or prevent you from lying flat on your cheek.
Yes, the INFURTURE H1 includes a 3.5mm jack for wired connectivity. However, please note that when using the cable, the device must remain powered on to utilize features like Active Noise Cancellation and volume control.
The INFURTURE H1 offers significantly longer battery life, providing up to 90 hours of playback with ANC off and 50 hours with it on. The Eigsupia offers 4 hours per charge, extending to 36 hours total with the charging case.
Yes, the Eigsupia Open Ear Headphones carry an IP54 waterproof rating, protecting them against sweat and light rain, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor sports. The INFURTURE H1 does not list a specific waterproof rating for swimming or heavy exposure.
