Overview:
Arrive & Settle
Gather & Begin
Reflecting & Reflexing:
Reflecting: taking a look from another perspective, whether a mirror reflecting back or a good friend listening to your story and echoing your images/phrases back to you.
Reflexing: Enter deeper into Reflection and arrive in Reflexion. When the image/person/idea is received by the other in such a way that both giver and receiver are changed through the exchange. Through this consciously participatory process, the space between becomes alive with co-creative potential (more on this next week!).
Reflection dive: journey through the past 4 weeks leading into this one...
Jeni highlighted various aspects of each week and invited everyone to follow along in whatever ways might activate their reflecting-being: moving, drawing, writing, resting.
I. Orienting to Home:
Haptic touch in the personal dimensions of body-breath-heart.
Haptic proprioceptive awareness orienting to ground-space-dimension through the sphere of directions (4 cardinal directions, above/below, heart). Gravity has a place for you, and it is here. Breath and Heartbeat give us life and relationship.
This is the week where we asked questions like: What is a quality/qualities that you always carry with you? Who/what makes you smile -- what happens in your bodily response?
II. Sensing-Moving from Heart:
Expanded our haptic & proprioceptive touch sensing (outer landscapes) into the inner haptic touch of sound-vibration & interoception (inner landscapes) through the three Hums Explorations -- low hums (ground/belly), whispered hums (meandering/carving pathways), lunar hums (spherically spacious). Rest in Heart (absence of hums, sensations circulating, attention resting).
We asked, What does it feel like to be: tender, gracious, trusted? (notice bodily shifts-sensations in response to each)
III. Let Go - Let Be - Let Come:
Before the actions & inactions of letting go, we affirm what stays/what we claim for and as ourselves.
Tending to the Biology of Survival & WellBeing
This week we named/explored rhythms-textures-shapes-sounds of letting go (see wk 3 site page)
Our primary exploration was Furl/Unfurl, with pauses along the way, turning towards (and being turned towards): heart-belly-pelvis-space between legs-ground. Root to rise, maybe even open heart/face/gaze to sky (sense beyond the room).
Adding a new layer of sequencing to Furl/Unfurl: diving under all you know/perceive/understand > furling in and with your heart and leaving the rest to itself, breathing-being here > root to rise > as you unfurl, part the air with your newly emerging form, shedding whatever is ready to release. Go through this process several times.
IV. Breathing-Being With:
Explored pathways of breath, inside and out: Fountain & Pool, Gather & Pour, Being With, Wind Breath.
Explored Exhaling into Emptyness and No Thing; Inhaling into Fullness and No Thing; the gathering and turning from one into the other (exhale-pause turning into inhale, inhale-pause turning into exhale). Explored traversing the space between the bottom and top of the breath, pausing where we experience tenderness and breathing with that place.
I - IV, and continuing...
Each week the site page contains within it: 1. summaries of our group gathering; 2. invitations into further exploration through OLs, ILs, DLs; and 3. small little gems of extra material to find along the way.
And always, the poems!
Reflecting & Reflexing, diving deeper:
Choose an element of the above and reflect-explore in a new way (move, draw, write, rest, ___).
Sharing -- phrases to encapsulate elements of our time together thus far -- Thank you!
stop, listen, feel, move
opening to sensation, opening to pleasure
all things meant for me come to me
surrender, receive, rest
listening to/with intention
melting rock I am
feel, open, release, love
inner aliveness
sensing can be trusted
Closing & Moving into the Week: poem excerpt by John O'Donohue (see below);
Enjoy your Outer Landscape, Inner Landscape, & Daily Life Invitations (OLs, ILs, & DLs)!

See-Perceive through the tincture of your Amazement. What happens as you explore-embody this invitation?
-- In your Outer Landscapes, turn your gaze towards the Living World around you...and open to receive the Living World turning towards you.
-- In your Inner Landscapes, turn your gaze towards the Living World inside you...What happens when you turn your tender, generous attention inwards? And when the inner self returns your gaze, what then? Feel free to use any of the explorations from our group gathering to assist you in priming your body & attention to receive yourself newly.
-- In your Daily Life, allow everything you say and do to be bejeweled in the tincture of your amazement. What happens?!
