Summary of Design
- Passes mid-infared light through a microscope slide containing a glucose solution
- Corresponds the output value to a close-matching glucose level, which is calibrated from the value produced from a series of standard glucose solutions (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 mmol/L)
- A mobile app records the glucose level and can be displayed on a graph, allowing for patients to more monitor changes over time
