        The Ecological Impact on the Coastal Ecosystem (EICE) lab investigates how marine primary producers—macroalgae and phytoplankton—respond physiologically and ecologically to changing ocean conditions, particularly climate-driven stressors. Our research uses molecular tools (SoEM for community analysis and ddPCR quantification for population studies) to reveal biodiversity patterns and community assembly dynamics, focusing primarily on protists.습니다.

Our research aims to develop a deep understanding of the ocean's role in regional carbon cycling and ecosystem resilience. Currently, we are collecting large-scale data and conducting big data analysis focusing on the northern East China Sea and Korea Strait, and we are evolving into the MetaOcean Lab through innovative research methodologies.
