The European Humanities University, or EHU, is a University located in the heart of Vilnius, Lithuania.
Initially opened in Minsk, Belarus in 1992, the University was shut down in 2004 due to its pro-democratic sentiment. This was done at the behest of the dictator, Lukashenko, who still remains in power.
EHU was offered safe haven in Lithuania in 2005 and has remained committed to its mission of education and freedom ever since.
