About Bill Blevins
The 2019-2020 school years marks my 20th year of having the honor to serve students, staff, parents, and the commuity while in education. Moving from the classroom, where I taught business and computer technology classes, into administration was a difficult decision, but one that has proven to be very rewarding.
During my time in Estacada, I have been allowed the opportunity to grow as an educational leader and feel one of the biggest assets of the Estacada School District is it's commitment to the professional development of the staff; to realize not only that we have the responsibility of creating resourceful and successful students, but we all must have the skills and passion to get all students to realize their potential.
About Estacada High School
EHS is a caring, supportive community that has high expectations for all students while providing an array of support and interventions to help students achieve. With a skilled and caring teaching staff who collaborate weeky through professional learning communities, combined with paraprofessionals who support students in the classroom, student successs data shows that EHS is on the right track.
EHS believes that standards-based grading gives a much more accurate picture of what skills a student has shown proficiency in rather than just earning points for a grade. Students will be given multiple opportunities to master standards as it shouldn't matter when a students shows proficiency, just that they do so before the end of the class.
