East Haven Sustainable CT
East Haven Sustainable is a volunteer program that works within Sustainable CT guidelines to promote a healthy, resilient, and environmentally friendly living community. Our efforts to become a certified sustainable community will rely on the entire community. We want to partner with our non-profits groups for the benefit of the entire community. We will be working with the support of Town Hall to work through the action plan set by the Sustainable CT program and look forward to connecting with many community members during this time.
East Haven Sustainable CT welcomes all of the community to take part in completing any of our action plans in progress. We have many platforms for information on action items and would encourage any communication through those platforms.
As we look forward to a greener community to live and raise our families we are looking forward to the day we can celebrate our communities certification as a sustainable community.
About Sustainable CT program:
Sustainable CT is a voluntary certification program that recognizes thriving and resilient municipalities. An independently funded, grassroots, municipal effort which provides a wide-range of best practices. Municipalities choose Sustainable CT actions, implement them and earn points toward certification.
Sustainable Ct also provides opportunities for grant funding to help communities promote economic well-being and enhance quality, all while respecting the capacity of the natural environment.
