Meeting: September 16th at 6:00- 6:40pm at the Edina High School Cafeteria

Complete Physical if the Activities Department does not have a doctors' form on file.
Physicals are good for 3 years, but without one, players cannot tryout.
Registration will open in February
Player registration through EHS: $270
If financial assistance is needed, you can contact the Activities Department directly
Once teams are formed, we will charge an assessment (amount TBD).

Very High - Hopefully you Come Pre-paired for Tryouts - Make a Team - Continue to work hard
Come together as a Program - Stick to our Standard - Have one another's back - Be a Wagon heading into Sections

Standards: is how we carry ourselves as a Team - On the Field, Classroom, School, Games and in the Community
Code of Conduct - Drinking - Drugs - Behavior - Embarrass Program - Coaches determine
additional penalties. Handled each Case by Case - In Public - You can heavily impact a young
players future in baseball/Life - Body Language and Being on Time Matter a Lot
Coaches & Players - YOU WILL : Care/Teammates - Except your Roll - do it for your
Teammates - Buy In! - Winning follows.
Parent: Encourage your player to come talk to Coaches - Player Sets up meeting - We
will call the Parent - No Chance they can articulate - No Emails or Text
Program Support: Meeting before Tryouts as a group and before Sections - Resource for the
players - Create relationships if you choose and sign of strength. Many High end athletes have a
Mental Health Coach available.
LEVELING UP IN 2027 - AIRES (Brochure) and
GameStrong (Brochure) for Players.
NLB - Will be utilized early in season and on bad Weather days.

Lost a pitcher to TJ and another started injured last year - Player would have helped us last year

0-2 Plan - Can’t be in the zone 0-2 - too many hits given up last year
Fielding: Footwork - Step over and not behind or shuffle - Timing your feet up - footwork
toward where you are throwing.
