Teaching

As an educator, Roohi's goals are for students to acquire higher-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Most aerospace and mechanical engineering courses have a solid mathematical basis. He teaches the students to think carefully about the problem and learn how to approach each set using mathematical principles, software, and engineering tables and charts. This is done by using “blended learning”. All course materials, including videos of the lectures, are ready for students before and during class, during which a repetition of the main principles is covered, along with live problem-solving and discussions, solutions to the sample questions, and quizzes.

Ehsan Roohi used the open courseware system of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad to distribute his class teaching lecture videos [29]. His teaching score in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, according to an Iranian teacher evaluation service, is 4.4 out of 5 [30].
