I was born in Isfahan, Iran, where I studied Statistical Physics, Complex Systems and Evolutionary Dynamics .
Currently, I am a Ph.D. Researcher at the Lässig lab at the Institute for Biological Physics at the University of Cologne.
In our group, we apply methods from Statistical Physics to explore biological phenomena with an emphasis on evolution.
My current research specifically focuses on the statistical evolutionary analysis of SARS-CoV-2 using molecular data.
