What do I do if my child can’t make practice?

• You or your child need to contact Ms. Morgan as soon as possible.  (Communication is Key)

During color guard if my child misses a Thursday practice, can they perform at their Saturday competition?

• Unfortunately no because of the changes that happen, it is a safety issue.  

Is lunch provided on Competition Days?

• Yes.  Lunch is provided through the booster club.  The days can be long, so snacks are a good idea to bring.

During winter guard if my JV child misses a Tuesday practice, can they perform at their Saturday competition?

• Unfortunately no because of the changes that happen, it is a safety issue.  

Is lunch provided on Competition Days?

• Not normally.  Please make sure your child brings money or packs a lunch for competition days.  The days can be long, so snacks are also a good idea to bring.  If by chance lunch is provided, Ms. Morgan will let you know.  

What does my child need for competition days?  

• Secure shoes that can be removed.  (NO BOOTS or HEELS)

• Make up  (Depends on what the makeup is for show)

• Hair accessories (rubberbands, bobby pins, etc.)  This all depends on what the show hair is for them.

• Snacks, lunch, money, etc.

What are the guard fees and how can I pay for them?

• Guard fees are subject to change each season.  However, they will let you know prior to the beginning of the season.  You can pay your fees by dropping off your payment in “Da Box” located in the band room.  You can also pay your fees through “Myschoolbucks” online.

Do I need to pay my fees all at once?

• No.  A payment schedule is sent out at the beginning of the season for you to gradually pay the fees.  

I am interested in helping, how can I help?

• If you are interested in helping, we would love to have you.  We are always looking for parents who would be interested in taking pictures, helping with props, volunteering to bring in snacks and water, help pull the floors, etc.  If you are interested, please reach out to Ms. Morgan or Mrs. Small.
