Current MN Aurora 2 Head coach and year 2 for Taylor with the Hornets, taking the team to the State Final in 2024 with a record of 14-2-5. Taylor was the varsity coach at Minneapolis Southwest High school in the Fall of 2017 through the Spring of 2019 where she led the Lakers to their first conference title in 8 years with a clean sheet and undefeated conference season and was recognized as the Section 6AA Coach of The Year. In 2019 Taylor became the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Augsburg University Women’s soccer program from 2019-2021. In her first season, the Auggies made it to the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament, and we're conference champions. Taylor previously coached at BV United SC where she was the Director of the girls’ side from 2021-2022.

Varsity Assistant
Sarah joins us for her fifth year on staff after a very successful high school and college playing career! She was multiple time All Conf and All State as well as being a captain for the Lady Hornets. After graduation she started her career at D1 UNO before transferring/playing and graduating from the University of North Dakota. Sarah is also currently coaching club with Minneapolis United.

Dave Goergen has been the head Junior Varsity coach at Edina, since 2005. Before that role, he was the assistant varsity coach at Robbinsdale Cooper High School for 4 years. Along with his role in the high school programs, Dave coached within the Tonka Soccer Club for almost 20 years, and has his USSF D License. Dave is another Hornet alum that played at EHS until a knee injury ended his career. Outside of soccer, Dave and his wife Marie have 3 kids.
B Team Coach
Zach returns to the program for his second year as the B Team coach. Zach was a 4 year varsity player at Winnebago High School in Winnebago, IL. His senior year, he captained his team to the program's first ever state tournament appearance. Zach attended DIII Carroll University, playing all 4 years for their men's program. With more than 30 years of playing experience, he returned to his high school alma mater coaching both the Boy's and Girl's programs. Taking a step back from the high school game, he started organizing and running the youth soccer programming for Lifetime Fitness. He most recently was the C Team coach for The Blake School Boy's program, but made the jump to Edina and has not looked back! Outside of soccer, Zach is married to Kajsa and has a step-daughter named Evelyn, who he coaches through EPSA, and who joins the program as an unofficial team member.
Freshmen Coach
