This Privacy Policy describes how Mersal Digital Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile applications (collectively, the "Apps").
By using our Apps, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Apps.
Data Controller: Mersal Digital Solutions Country: Egypt Contact Email: support@mersal.com
For any privacy-related questions, requests, or concerns, please contact us at the email address above.
This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications published by Mersal Digital Solutions on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and any other distribution platform. This includes our current applications and any new applications we may release in the future.
Some of our Apps may allow you to provide information directly, such as:
Account registration information (where applicable)
Preferences and settings
Content you submit through the App
Communications with us (e.g., support requests)
If an App does not require registration, we do not collect this information.
When you use our Apps, certain information is collected automatically, including:
Device information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as Advertising ID on Android or IDFA on iOS), language settings, and device region
Usage information: app features used, screens viewed, time spent in the App, crashes and performance data
Network information: IP address, mobile carrier, network type
Approximate location: derived from IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location unless explicitly requested for App functionality)
Our Apps display advertisements served by third-party ad networks. These ad networks may collect and process information about your device and ad interactions, including:
Advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID, Apple IDFA)
IP address and approximate location
Device type, operating system, and browser information
Information about ads you view, click, or interact with
Time and frequency of ad views
Aggregated app usage patterns
This information is collected directly by the ad networks under their own privacy policies, not by us.
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
To provide, maintain, and improve our Apps
To display advertisements (including personalized advertisements where permitted)
To analyze App performance and user behavior in aggregate
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
To comply with legal obligations
To respond to user inquiries and support requests
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Consent: Where you have given consent (e.g., for personalized advertising). You may withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interests: For analytics, fraud prevention, and improving our Apps, where your rights and interests do not override these interests.
Contractual necessity: Where processing is necessary to provide the App's core functionality.
Legal obligation: Where processing is required by law.
Our Apps use third-party advertising networks and analytics providers to serve ads, measure performance, and analyze usage. These third parties may collect information directly from your device through software development kits (SDKs) integrated into our Apps.
The ad networks and service providers we work with may include, but are not limited to, major advertising platforms and mediation services. Each third party operates under its own privacy policy and data handling practices.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties to understand their data practices. Common third-party ad networks publish their privacy policies at the following representative locations:
Google AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Meta Audience Network: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy
AppLovin: https://www.applovin.com/privacy
Other ad networks and mediation partners maintain their own publicly available privacy policies
This list may be updated from time to time as we adjust our advertising partnerships.
Where required by law (such as in the EEA, UK, and California), we use a Consent Management Platform to obtain your choice regarding personalized advertising:
If you consent to personalized ads: Ad networks may use your information to show you ads tailored to your interests.
If you do not consent or are in a region where consent is not required: You will see contextual (non-personalized) ads based on the App content and general information, not your personal data.
You can change your consent choice at any time through the consent options available within the App.
On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, Apple requires apps to obtain explicit permission before tracking users across apps and websites owned by other companies. When you first use one of our Apps on iOS, you may see a system prompt asking whether you allow tracking.
If you allow tracking: Ad networks can access your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) and serve personalized ads.
If you ask the App not to track: Your IDFA will not be available to ad networks, and you will see non-personalized ads.
You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Our Apps are operated from Egypt, and the third-party services we use (including ad networks) may transfer and process your information in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, the European Union, and other jurisdictions.
For users in the EEA and UK, where personal data is transferred outside these regions, we and our third-party providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or other valid transfer mechanisms.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
With third-party ad networks as described above, to enable advertising
With service providers who help us operate our Apps (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, cloud hosting)
For legal reasons if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property
In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be bound by this Privacy Policy
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law. Specifically:
Information collected by ad networks is retained according to their respective retention policies
Account information (where applicable) is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter
Aggregated and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@mersal.com.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the following rights:
Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal data
Right to restrict processing: Request that we limit how we process your data
Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time
Right to lodge a complaint: With your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at support@mersal.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to delete personal information held about you
Right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information

Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information
Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
Identifiers (device IDs, IP addresses)
Internet or other electronic activity (App usage information)
Inferences drawn from the above (used by ad networks for personalization)
While we do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, the sharing of advertising identifiers with ad networks may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under California law. To opt out, please:
Adjust your consent preferences within the App
Enable "Limit Ad Tracking" on Android or use App Tracking Transparency settings on iOS

To exercise your CCPA rights, please contact us at support@mersal.com.
Our Apps are intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at support@mersal.com so we can delete the information.
In jurisdictions where the minimum age for digital consent is higher than 13 (e.g., 16 in some EU countries), users below that age should obtain parental consent before using our Apps.
Our mobile Apps do not use traditional browser cookies. However, the third-party SDKs integrated into our Apps may use similar technologies, such as device identifiers and local storage, for advertising and analytics purposes. These technologies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective third parties.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Apps may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and may notify you through the App or by other reasonable means.
Your continued use of our Apps after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
