Jamie Marshaleck

Hello! I’m Jamie Marshaleck, and I’m honored to be an EngineerGirl Society mentor. Being in love with the STEM field, I have a profound love and respect for the sciences; this is translated in my participation in clubs at FHS, such as Astronomy Club, Envirothon, and STEM club. I intend to go to college for Astrophysics and Computer Science after graduating from Freedom. I enjoy reading, writing, working in private study, and playing video games in my spare time. I cannot wait to get to know you all better, and I hope you find value in the mentorship program!

Ella Walker

Hi! My name is Ella Walker and I am a junior at Freedom! At Freedom, I am a member of the Dance Team, Asian-American Alliance Club, and I am a Mini-THON captain. This year will be my 14th year at Nardi Dance Studios. Outside of school, I work as a camp counselor during the summer and I volunteer at Camel's Hump Farm! Currently, I hope to pursue a career in mathematics or architectural engineering. I am so excited to be returning as an Engineer Girl Power Society mentor! Through this club, I hope I can inspire an interest in STEM in a younger female generation. I think it's super important that we help create a strong female presence in the STEM field because we have so much to offer! I can't wait to see what this year has in store!

Bella Applegate

Hi! My name is Bella Applegate and I am a freshman at Freedom this year. I’m super excited to get into EGPS this year! I like to skateboard, ride my bike, play basketball, and tinker with anything I can. I plan to become a surgeon and use my engineering skills to create new solutions to problems that will help people in surgery. I’m so glad to be a woman in STEM because I really want to make an impact and help people. I can’t wait to help encourage other young women to join STEM!
