Regional Quarterly Product Sales Dashboard
This regional quarterly sales dashboard provides a snapshot of sales performance across four regions—East, North, South, and West—over four quarters. A total of 61 orders were placed, resulting in the sale of 334 items, which generated a total profit of £59,000. The average order value stands at £4,000, and printers emerged as the top-selling product.
From the bar chart, the East region consistently outperformed others, especially in Q2 and Q4, while the South region saw a significant spike in Q1. The white line representing profit trends indicates that although sales peaked in Q2, overall profit dipped slightly before rising again in Q4. This suggests that Q4 achieved a better balance of high sales and profitability. The dashboard highlights strong regional variances and emphasises product performance, supporting better decision-making in future sales strategies.
Bliss Analysis Revenue Report 2011-2014
The sales project had 3,900 customers and generated £5.18M. Sales grew from 2011 to 2013 but fell in 2014. Summer sales were highest, Winter lowest. Men bought more than women, most paid by Credit Card/PayPal, and adults (35–49) led in purchases. Australia had the most customers, while Central had the least.
To improve, we should investigate the 2014 sales drop, boost Winter sales with promotions, engage women more while retaining men, promote digital payments, focus on adults (35–49) while encouraging younger buyers, and strengthen growth in Australia and weaker regions.
I developed the Power BI dashboard below to provide a clear, data-driven view of our retail sales performance. It captures key metrics such as $456K in total sales, 1,000 customers, and 2,514 items sold, while breaking down performance across quarters, product categories, and customer demographics.
Highlights include:
Sales trends segmented by age, gender, and seasonality
Product preferences across Accessories, Clothing, and Footwear
Quarterly and yearly performance insights for strategic planning
Visual comparisons of average pricing, customer distribution, and sales volume
This dashboard is designed to support smarter decisions and uncover actionable insights across marketing, inventory, and customer engagement.
