Welcome to the Florida Panhandle! We are an unopposed, active duty-only residency at Eglin Air Force Base, with 12 residents per class. Our facility’s inpatient services include adult medicine, surgical specialties, obstetrical care, newborn care, and intensive care. Outpatient clinics consist of family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, mental health and substance abuse, internal medicine subspecialties, and surgical specialties. Off-site rotations locations include Sacred Heart Pediatric Emergency Room, The Studer Family Children’s Hospital, Florida Department of Health Clinic, and more.
Unopposed residency with access to specialists who love to teach and be involved in multiple levels of care
Integrative medicine clinic where residents have dedicated time to treat patients using osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture.
Residents have access to the American College of Lifestyle Medicine curriculum and may pursue electives or an "area of concentration" in lifestyle medicine. Residents who complete the required curricular and clinical components may sit for board certification exam to become certified Lifestyle Medicine professionals.
Duration of Pregnancy (DOP) Program in which residents will provide care for patients from their initial OB appointment through delivery and post-partum course. Allows for unparalleled continuity of care and robust experience in prenatal, antenatal, and postpartum management.

Proximity to Hurlburt Field, home to Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) allows additional experiences in flight medicine and special operations.
Volunteer opportunities with local organizations and events such as the Crossroads Free Medical and Dental Clinic, Okaloosa County Health Department, providing medical services at Iron Man and Marathon races, St. Andrew Sports Physical Day, etc.
Night float system with almost no call (only two days of "call" -- 12 hour night shift coverage -- per year for PGY2/3s)
Trauma/ICU rotation at Level 1 Trauma Center with University of Alabama-Birmingham
Inpatient pediatrics and Pediatric ER rotations with Studer Children's Hospital in Pensacola
