Malte Matthey built the EggTimer app as a free app. This Service is provided by Malte Matthey at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use the EggTimer app.

Information Collection and Use

EggTimer does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, address, or payment information.

EggTimer does not display advertising and does not use advertising SDKs.

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify, diagnose, and fix crashes and improve app stability. Crash reports are only sent after a crash if you choose to send them. If you do not agree to send a crash report, the crash report is not submitted.

Crash reports may include technical information such as:

• crash stack traces;

• information about the app state at the time of the crash;

• device model and operating system version;

• app version;

• time and date of the crash;

• technical identifiers such as a Crashlytics installation identifier or Firebase installation identifier.

This information is used only to analyze crashes, fix bugs, and improve the reliability of the app.

Third-Party Services

EggTimer uses the following third-party service:

• Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Crashlytics is provided by Google/Firebase. Crashlytics may process technical crash and diagnostic data on behalf of Malte Matthey. The data is used to provide crash reporting and app stability diagnostics.

Data Sharing

Malte Matthey does not sell your data.

Crash report data may be processed by Firebase Crashlytics as a service provider in order to provide crash reporting functionality. Malte Matthey does not use this data for advertising, marketing, personalization, or user tracking.

Data Retention

Crashlytics data is retained by Firebase according to Firebase’s retention practices. Firebase states that Crashlytics crash stack traces and related identifiers are generally retained for 90 days before removal from live and backup systems begins.

Cookies

EggTimer does not use cookies directly.

The app does not contain advertising SDKs and does not use cookies for advertising or marketing purposes.

Security

Crash reports sent to Firebase are transmitted using encrypted transport. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children’s Privacy

EggTimer does not require children or any other users to provide personal information.

The app does not contain advertising, does not require an account, and does not request personal information from users. Crash reports are only sent if the user chooses to send them after a crash.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact Malte Matthey so that appropriate action can be taken.

EggTimer may contain links to external sites, such as support, privacy, or app store pages. These external sites are not operated by Malte Matthey. Malte Matthey has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
