Course: Game Design, Prototyping, and Production

This project focused on creating a platformer. Our team decided to create a puzzle platformer focused on butterfly migration. My tasks included UI and level design. This included the creation of level textures and assets, and the layout of the levels, and the creation of the puzzles, along with creating level transitions and designing the level selection.
This included learning about the animation tools within Unity to create animated title art and the migration path (left), and a focus on using symbols and iconography to communicate, as our professor challenged the team to keep text to a minimum. Additionally, to play off the migration/travel idea, I created postcard styled graphics for the level selection.
In this project, I worked in Unity, C#, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with analog processes to draft graphics.
