Swallow Structure

Course: Studio Foundation I

This project focused on studying the habits of an assigned animal. In studying the nesting patterns of barn swallows, I decided to lean into their relationship with man-made structures with my design. As they frequently build their nests below eaves, my goal was to create a sculptural form with multiple layers of eaves, created by the multiple roofs.
