Course: Studio Elaboration I

Created in collaboration with Amal Jafrani

This project started with separate design of a townhouse (below), which gave a basis of knowledge for the second part of the project, creating a pair of townhouses that have a shared space, with a partner. This included study of the context of the site, as these projects are both located in Lawrenceville, PA, and understanding of design priorities within a home. My design with Amal (bottom left) has three sections, a home that I designed, a home that she designed, and an art studio that we collaborated on. The plans and sections focus on the townhouse that I developed, while the models show the entire community in relationship to one another.
