Special Olympics at Elizabeth Gymnastics Club
Our Special Olympics Gymnastics Program provides individuals with intellectual disabilities—regardless of age or ability—with the chance to improve their physical fitness, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and confidence, while also fostering valuable friendships. Gymnastics offers a wonderful, inclusive community activity that everyone can enjoy.

An acrobatic sporting discipline which combines skills of artistic gymnastics with those of trampolining. Explosive, dynamic and powerful tumbling passes performed on an air track.
Our competitive program follows the National Levels Program, offering opportunities for both boys and girls to progress from beginner to advanced levels.
We train athletes across Levels 1 to 10 in both Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, providing structured pathways for skill development and competition readiness.
As gymnasts move through the levels, they face new challenges that foster technical growth, resilience, and confidence. Through progressive skill development, athletes learn to master increasingly complex movements in a supportive, disciplined environment.
Elizabeth Gymnastics Club has built a strong reputation in the competitive arena. Our athletes have proudly represented South Australia at the Australian National Championships, Border Challenge, and Bigham Cup. Several have also been selected for the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI), with one gymnast earning a place at the prestigious Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).
We’re committed to excellence — nurturing talent, building character, and helping every gymnast reach their full potential.
