Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), a Research Fellow at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), and an Extramural Research Fellow at the University of Luxembourg (uni.lu). 

Before joining AUEB, I was an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, SLU, Uppsala. 

I am also Greece's representative to the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists--EAERE. 

I hold a PhD in Economics from AUEB and a Docentship (Habilitation) in Economics from SLU, Uppsala. 

My research interests include environmental and urban economics, economics of transportation, and economic geography. 

I have participated as a coordinator or researcher in 15 research projects related to environmental policies, which have been funded by the European Commission, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development, the Bank of Greece, the Greek Ministry of Environment, WWF Hellas etc.
