I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a Research Fellow at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). 

Before joining AUEB, I was an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, SLU, Uppsala. 

I hold a PhD in Economics from AUEB and a Docentship (Habilitation) in Economics from SLU, Uppsala. 

My research interests include environmental and urban economics, economics of transportation, and economic geography. 

I have participated as a coordinator or researcher in 15 research projects related to environmental policies, which have been funded by the European Commission, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development, the Bank of Greece, the Greek Ministry of Environment, WWF Hellas etc.
