Ellena (she/her) has been creating art her whole life. She attended The University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA and received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Design. Ellena worked for a consumer goods company for a few years, but decided her skills and talents would be better suited to teaching art to the next generation of students. 

She recently graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois earning her Masters of Arts in Teaching to become an Art Educator. She is excited to share her love of art with her future students. Ellena gets inspiration for her art and lessons from artists and creators of different backgrounds and cultures around the world.
