The mission of the Effingham Youth Wrestling Club is to educate our youth and community about the sport of amateur wrestling. We will teach the wrestling fundamentals that will instill self-discipline, dedication, sportsmanship and self-esteem. We strive to make the program enjoyable for wrestlers, parents, and coaches while maintaining a competitive philosophy of hard work that is required to compete in this historic sport.

HEAD COACH
Damon will begin his 4th year coaching Effingham Youth Wrestling Club. He spent many years wrestling for Effingham youth wrestling. Damon lives in Effingham with his wife, Lindsey, and their three sons. Damon's sons Cooper and Briggs are members of EYW club.

This will be the McGinnis Family's 2nd year coaching Effingham Youth Wrestling Club. They bring years of wrestling knowledge and expertise. They live in Jewett with their son and daughter. Tripp is a member of the Effingham Youth Wrestling Club.

Dave will begin his 6th season coaching the Effingham Youth Wrestling Club. Dave also coaches for Effingham High School. Dave lives in Effingham with his wife, Amy, and their two sons, Kaiden & Brendan. Dave's sons were both previous members of the EYW club and are now on the EHS wrestling team.

Kerri will begin her 4th season coaching the Effingham Youth Wrestling Club and heads up all things "girls" for the club! Kerri lives in Effingham with her husband, Adam, and their three children. Their son, Treyton, is a member of the youth wrestling club. Addisyn now wrestles at Effingham High School and was the first girl in our club history to advance to the Girl's State Competition.

Aaron will be begin his 4rd season coaching with the Effingham Youth Wrestling Club. He was a youth member of the club as a wrestler for 3 years from 2001 to 2003. Aaron lives in Effingham with his wife, Courtney, and their 3 children. Their son, Hayden, is a member of the youth wrestling club.

Dallas will begin his 2nd season coaching the Effingham Youth Wrestling Club. Dallas lives in Sigel with his wife, Mary, and their son and daughter. His son, Beau, is a member of the EYW club.
