Hi, I’m Samantha Sullivan—an educator, literacy specialist, and founder of Effective Tutoring and Family Strategies. With over 13 years of experience in general and special education, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming the education system can feel for families.

 I created this company to bridge the gap between school and home, helping parents understand how children learn today, what’s happening in classrooms, and how they can confidently support their child’s growth. The world is changing quickly, and education looks very different from when many parents were in school. I want to help families navigate this new landscape so they feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way.

With specialized training in structured literacy and a background supporting students with diverse learning needs, I’m committed to staying up-to-date on the latest educational research. I believe that when we combine current best practices with strong family partnerships, we give children the tools they need to truly thrive.
