is an environmental and energy technology start-updeveloping next-generation wastewater treatment systems
based on microbial electrochemical systems (MESs).
Building on the research legacy of Environmental Fusion Energy Technology Laboratory (EFET), the company was founded in 2025 with a clear vision: to pioneer “green power–generating wastewater treatment” as a new paradigm for infrastructure.
Our core technologies, including microbial fuel cell (MFC) and microbial electrolysis cell (MEC), aim to convert the chemical energy stored in organic matter in sewage and industrial effluents into electricity while simultaneously removing pollutants. In this way, EFET Solutions seeks to transform conventional, energy-consuming wastewater treatment plants into net energy producers and to contribute to carbon-neutral, circular economies.
EFET Solutions focuses on:
Modular MES system design,
Data-driven remote monitoring and operation optimization, and
Field-oriented engineering and demonstration projects.
Working with municipalities, industrial complexes, and the food and agricultural sectors, we deliver practical and scalable blue-tech solutions that recover both clean water and valuable energy from wastewater.
With these technologies, EFET Solutions aims to turn “the cost of wastewater treatment” into “the value of energy and resource recovery” and to build a platform that can be deployed not only in Korea but also in global markets.
