Artist - Pondering - Envisioning
Hello all who have endeavored down the overgrown path, tucked away in the vastness of the void, to my artist page. Here I hope to post my meaningful and curious works for anyone hoping to invest their time in rebellion through art, thought, and sustainable clothing.
EerieAngelina (she/they) is a genderqueer Mexican-Irish American artist from the Midwest. With a focus on textile art and zines, they create pieces that intersect functionality, remnants, and possibilities.
Dark Clothing Line Available at Events
I have teamed up with musician, Brad Rame, in designing and constructing hoodies with an EerieAngelina original cat skull design that is also featured as his recent album cover.
The hoodies have been hand stenciled with a hand cut stencil.
We made sustainability and ethically sourced materials a priority in this line for both quality of product for the customer and quality of life for those involved throughout the process.
Clothing Care
As always, refer to each of your garments' care tags to assure any specific needs are met.
Tending to a stain instead of putting the whole garment in the washer is faster, consumes less resources, and extends the clothing's durability over time.
Avoid washing on hot settings unless the tag says otherwise. Most cold settings on washers are 60-80 degrees F, an adequate cleaning temperature.
Opting to line dry clothes over using a dryer is one of the best ways to extend the life of high use clothing such as pants and hoodies.
EerieAngelina's Favorite Upcycles
Adding pocket extensions to pants you already own and love.
Sewing loops to hang frequently used items.
Using scraps of patterned fabrics to patch holes or for decoration.
Repurposing worn out garments, lose thread, and fabric scraps to fill pillows.
