Le Studium Consortium 2025 This project develops novel legal indicators of environmental regulation to address global environmental challenges. By combining economics, law, and data science, and using Natural Legal Language Processing (NLLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs), it overcomes the limits of existing measures and enables the large-scale analysis of environmental laws. The project will create a global, multidimensional dataset, apply it to research on trade and environmental outcomes, and deliver robust, policy-relevant indicators to inform national and international environmental policy.
MSCA 2024 FiGE This project builds on the growing importance of stringent environmental regulations as tools to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. It brings together researchers working on environmental policy, international trade, and economic development to generate robust evidence on how regulatory ambition shapes economic outcomes. The project aims to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, support training and mobility for researchers, and ensure that its results are widely shared with academic, policy, and institutional stakeholders.
