EEBL was founded in 2022 by Prof. Bongkyu Kim
in the Department of Environmental Biotechnology
at Jeonbuk National University (JBNU).
Our main research goal is to approach and solve environmental problems based on microbial electrochemistry.
We are a laboratory that conducts various research on how to create high value-added energy using waste resources.

Microbial electrochemical bioremediation process for contaminated soil and water
Microbial electrochemical system
Microbial fuel cell for renewable energy
Microbial electorsynthesis system for CO2 capture and utilization
