Areas of focus
Freedom Project
Online program for the people of Washington State to vote and participate in government systematically.
Education
Forgive/cancel student loans for students who previously took out government financial aid. Future students that attend a state government funded school will receive free to affordable tuition and repayment with no interest on loans. Require that new reporting laws for acceptance, drop out, incompletion, failure, and graduation rates be made transparent to the public. This applies to all degree programs and levels for all schools of any sector. Require schools receiving government funding and formally FASFA to meet minimum graduation rates of 95%.
Equality
Implement new laws that require gender equality for all government funded programs, departments, and institutions.
Washington State Bank
Launch an electronic banking/lending system at the state level of government that brokers to privatized banks.
Immigration and Residency
Implement new laws that prioritize native and current residents over immigrants and new residents.
Construction/Business/Housing
Implement new laws that require construction in an equable manner for all socioeconomic brackets and sectors of the market.
Welfare & disability
Abolish child support and implement gender equable laws that support government welfare programs and institutions that are fair for all and utilize a step system. Make Washington State a joint custody state by mandating joint custody as a norm. Construction of welfare programs and homes that provide equity, a step system, and a way out of poverty. Institute a 4 phase program for rehabilitation, job training, mentorship, housing, lifting people out of poverty and out of the welfare system.
Medical and Child Care
Implement medical care, prescriptions, and child care that is fair for all socioeconomic levels of society.
Incarceration, Policing, Homelessness, Government, and Community Service
Jails, prisons, corrections, detention centers, and probation reform. Implement wrap around/holisitic programs that utilize a step system that supports the community and eliminates massive incarceration.
Taxes
Tax incentives for businesses who need assistance while adopting better policies for employee retirement, i.e. up to 10% employer matched contributions.
Government Reporting and Transparency
All systems and system related data will be made transparent on a quarterly and yearly basis and accessible to the public on the Freedom Project's website.
