My name is Edward Brown. I am a senior at Oxford High School and this year is my third year on the Charger newspaper staff. My first two years on staff I served as a sports writer, from 2017-2019. I served as the editor-in-chief of the Charger for the 2019-2020 school year. At previous MSPA and SIPA conferences in 2018 I won awards for best headline package and best page design. I have also written for the Invitation Oxford, a local magazine in Oxford. In addition being on newspaper staff, I am also the varsity captain of the OHS soccer team. I was selected to the 2020 Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star soccer game this season.
