Covid-19 which created a pandemic situation worldwide is a contemporary threat to humanity. The pandemic has created the largest disruption in education systems in history, to be more specific, nearly 1.6 billion learners in more than 190 countries and all continents. Closures of schools and other learning platforms have impacted 94 percent of the world’s student population, up to 99 percent of low and lower-middle-income countries. The education disruption has appeared and closures of educational institutions hampering the provision of essential services. It will have substantial effects on education. While in Bangladesh the higher education sectors, online learning has often taken place through recorded lectures and online platforms. On the other hand, due to the lack of information technology (IT) infrastructure for both students and teachers, some universities have postponed learning and teaching until remoter notice. Still from the onset of the pandemic, teachers were immediately tasked with implementing loftiness learning modalities, often without sufficient guidance, training, or resources. The vivid example of the closure in our country is the cancellation of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination and interruption in Secondary School Certificate (SSC). This occurred at every level of education.

To overcome these challenges we the people come up with EDUNIOUS- 4.0 – Finding the better solution for education to discuss and uncover the solution with the promised support of implementation. So, are you the one who has different perspectives towards these new challenges created by the pandemic? Are you ready to appear in front of the world with innovative thoughts and considerations through your projects which can bring new treatments within the education system? Then fold your sleeves and jump on to be the next EDUNIOUS!!!

What is this challenge?

The competition will happen online and within 2 rounds. In between these two rounds, project screening will be done by the honorable committee members. In the first round, Registration and project submission ( including pictures /videos if the project is in progress). In the screening phase, the projects will be evaluated and progressed to the final stage. Best 8 groups will be battling against each other within the final round. Be informed that projects which are in the implementation stage will get priority.

4. Blend the technology in education

5. Spread the education for all

6. Support the teachers for education in new normal

7. Stablish better Online Assessment Policies for emergency situation

Winning Prize Money:

1st prize- 10000 Taka

2nd Prize- 6000 Taka

3rd Prize- 4000 Taka

**Winning projects will get 6 month strategic support from Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) for implementing the project.
