Educology ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Educology mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Our App is designed for use in educational settings and may be used by students, including children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). Because the privacy of young users is profoundly important to us, we comply strictly with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the required legal age without prior, verifiable consent from a parent, legal guardian, or through the student's school/educational institution.
School/Teacher Consent: When our App is used in a classroom setting, the school or teacher acts as the agent for the parent and provides consent for the collection of students' personal data for educational purposes (often referred to as in loco parentis).
Parental Consent: If a student registers independently outside of a school contract, verifiable parental consent is required during registration.
For student accounts, we restrict data collection to only what is strictly necessary to participate in the educational activity (e.g., a username, student ID, and classroom assignments). We never use student data for behavioral advertising, profiling, or commercial purposes.
Parents or legal guardians have the right to:

We collect location name (such as city or region) only if you provide it.
This is optional and used to improve user experience.
We do not collect precise GPS location.
