This resource is a book that describes the author’s experience as a fifth-grade teacher in a multiethnic school in the US: From Silence to Voice. CRP practices improved student achievement and increased standardized test scores. Reflecting practices generated valuable learning experiences for students and teachers. “Second classroom” practices - the spaces and interactions developed beyond the classroom- allowed to tap into various forms of literacy.
