The Buddhi-Jiva Pratisthan (B-JiP) helps provide free education to poor children in developing countries. B-JiP was established in August 2017 in honor of Mr. Jiva Nath Kafle and Mrs. Buddhi Maya Kafle of Nepal. The Kafles, despite being illiterate and resource poor and coming from a distant village in rural Nepal, dreamed of educating their children and successfully achieved their goals. In honor of their life-long struggles for their children's education, the Buddhi-Jiva Pratisthan aims to advocate and help for free education for poor children in developing countries who have no access to education due to poverty, lack of information, or any other reasons.

In the starting years, the project will support for free education of poor children in rural Nepal. Over time, the project aims to help poor children in developing countries throughout the world.
